For years I found sitting on the beach sand or on the side of a sports pitch uncomfortable. Then I came across these super comfy chairs whilst abroad and i made it my mission to source, design and import a similar design of chair to this country, as they were unavailable. The chairs are covered in hard wearing durable material that repels water and they are made in on-trend colours to ensure you look good whether in the park, your garden, at the beach or on the side of a sports pitch.

I'm a beach loving mum to three very active children. Several years ago in my home country of South Africa i found a beach chair that was easy to handle, comfortable, robust and comfy to sit on whether on the beach, in the garden or watching my kids play sports matches in the summer. Ever since people have asked me where they could get a similar chair from but we were never able to source them locally. And that is how Indigo Boathouse was incepted - i set about designing and manufacturing the chairs myself.
